We at Katahdin Studio Furniture design and craft liturgical and worship furniture for all religions and denominations. Founded in 1997, our company soon developed a world-wide reputation for its line of music room and orchestral furnishings. Since our beginning, we have evolved into a broad-ranged specialty furniture maker, and our work is found in museums, colleges, corporate headquarters and houses of worship throughout the country. Over one third of our orders at any given time come from repeat customers, often from a celebrity clientele. We craft each piece of furniture in our shop one-at-a-time in a historic textile mill located in Lewiston, Maine USA.
Katahdin thrives on the opportunity to meet and surpass our customer’s precise requirements. We love to do “one of a kind” pieces… in design, materials, or finish. When you draw the palm of your hand over the surface of our work, you will sense their honest and unpretentious quality. The shapes and forms that we favor do not follow trends, but are those which we all feel familiar with and have held up well against the test of time. They by nature integrate well with a wide variety of decors and motifs.
We would be honored by your inquiry, whether it be over the phone, through email or in person...and of course you are always cordially welcome to visit our studio showroom anytime you are in Maine. Contact me toll free at 1-888-783-2969 or email at john@katahdinliturgical.com.
